We are excited to announce our Great Places to Ride Series as we celebrate 2018 Bike Month across the GTHA and Guelph. These weekly features will give you a host of ideas on where to ride in your community. Whether you cycle to work, ride the trails on the weekend, or simply bike to get around town, we hope you’ll discover something new!
For this week's installment, we're featuring the Lake Aquitaine Trail in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga.

Lake Aquitaine Trail: A hidden gem
Mississauga has a host of multi-use trails. Many of the trails are long and continuous, featuring underpasses and bridges at major road crossings, which are often hard to negotiate when cycling. One of these is the Lake Aquitaine Trail, which will be used for the Ontario 55+ Games.
You may not know that this trail system is right in your backyard - it's truly a hidden gem!
Discover this extensive trail system behind the Meadowvale Community Centre for a smooth ride and many scenic stopping points.
Clear signage points people walking, rolling, and wheeling to destinations along the way.
